KEY MESSAGES
Thank you to everyone who completed the survey sent out last week. Your feedback was extremely valuable, and we are trying to address your concerns.
Safer at Home Order Extended Through May 15, 2020
Thank you to all of our communities for following the Safer at Home public health order. What you are doing matters, and we see the positive impact of our collective efforts. Our regional hospitals and first responders are grateful for your help in slowing the spread of COVID-19. We understand your sacrifice and know that this is coming at a tremendous personal and economic cost. Your efforts are making an impact and saving lives.
Stay “Virtually” Connected Over the Holiday Weekend
We are encouraging all residents to remain "virtually" connected with their houses of worship, relatives and friends over the upcoming holiday weekend. Physical distancing requirements remain in effect and public gatherings of any number (outside of a single household unit) remain prohibited.
As a reminder, all trails, beaches, sports fields and courts, public spaces and many parks are closed. View this video for further information regarding this requirement: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4PnSYAqQHU
Face Covering Requirements
All essential businesses in Los Angeles Count must provide cloth face coverings for their employees by April 15. Additionally, everyone must wear face coverings when in visiting or working at essential businesses. Children under the age of two should not wear face coverings, and children older than the age of two years should wear face coverings only under supervision of an adult. This is NOT required when driving, walking, running, or standing outside where you will not be in close contact with others.
