 NEW HEALTH OFFICER ORDER GOES INTO EFFECT TODAY, SATURDAY JULY 17, 2021, AT 11:59PM.

Beginning today, Saturday July 17, 2021 at 11:59pm, masks will be required indoors in public settings regardless of vaccination status, similar to masking requirements that were in place prior to June 15, 2021. LA County is experiencing significant transmission rates meeting the CDC indicators and thresholds for substantial community transmission of COVID-19. The updated Health Officer Order requiring masks indoors will remain in place until improvements in community transmission rates begin to decrease.
